Urban Exploration

We will host 3 days of field trips with M/S & H/S students
Depart: 9:30 sharp from Rockaway Firehouse – Rockaway Bch Blvd & Beach 59th St
Return: 7PM at Rockaway Firehouse
We will venture into the city to learn how cities are designed and meet people who have shaped the City of New York through planning, design and innovation. Find out where planners get their inspiration. Students are encouraged to bring their own journals and cameras to document their journey in a photo essay. Students should bring their own lunch and dress according to weather forecast.
Program is limited to twenty students and is on a first come first serve basis. Registration form* and permission slip for each student must be received by February 5th. Contact Carrie Fox for more information at: info@rwalliance.org
