Pratt Design Student Presentation of Sustainable Rockaway Community

Over the past year, Rockaway Waterfront Alliance worked with urban planner Ron Shiffman and 50 Master ’s Architecture students from Pratt Institute to design an environmentally-sensitive community for the Rockaway peninsula that addressed the issues of sustainability and global climate change. Students presented their work to the Rockaway community on November 20th, 2008 and finalized their designs for the end of year presentation.
